Program Overview
Secret Shoppers Club is a community initiative designed to help independently owned boutiques improve their customer experience. Participants are assigned a boutique to visit and are asked to provide honest, constructive feedback. The program operates across multiple neighborhoods and cities, with each assignment tailored to the participant's local area.
Assignment & Scheduling
Upon acceptance into the program, participants will be assigned a specific boutique along with a designated day and time to visit. Assignments are typically scheduled on weekends, when boutiques are at their busiest. Participants are expected to complete their visit on the assigned date or notify the program coordinator in advance if unable to do so.
Conduct During Visits
Participants must conduct themselves as regular customers during their assigned visit. Participants must not disclose their role as a secret shopper to boutique staff or other customers at any time during the visit. Any behavior that reveals the participant's role may result in immediate removal from the program.
Feedback Submission
Following each visit, participants are required to complete a feedback form provided by the program. Feedback must be honest, specific, and submitted within 48 hours of the visit. Incomplete or fraudulent submissions may result in removal from the program.
Gift Card Compensation
Participants will receive a gift card prior to their assigned visit to be used during their shopping experience. The gift card is provided as compensation for participation and must be used at the assigned boutique during the visit. Gift cards are non-transferable and have no cash value. The compensation amount may vary by assignment and will be communicated at the time of assignment.
Confidentiality
Participants agree to keep the details of their assignments, including the identity of participating boutiques and the nature of the feedback collected, confidential. Information gathered through this program is used solely to help boutiques improve and will not be shared publicly or attributed to any individual participant.
Privacy
Personal information collected during sign-up is used exclusively for program administration and will never be sold or shared with third parties outside of this program. Participant data is stored securely and used only to match shoppers with appropriate assignments and to communicate program-related information.
Eligibility
Participants must be 18 years of age or older. The program reserves the right to accept or decline any applicant at its sole discretion. Employees, owners, or immediate family members of participating boutiques are not eligible to participate as shoppers for those boutiques.
Code of Conduct
Participants agree to treat boutique staff with respect and professionalism at all times. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or dishonest behavior during a visit will result in immediate removal from the program. Participants agree to provide feedback that is fair, constructive, and based solely on their actual experience during the assigned visit.
Program Changes
Secret Shoppers Club reserves the right to modify these terms, adjust compensation, change assignment procedures, or discontinue the program at any time with reasonable notice to active participants. Continued participation after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Limitation of Liability
Secret Shoppers Club is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss that may occur during a participant's visit to an assigned boutique. Participants assume all risk associated with their participation and agree to hold Secret Shoppers Club, its organizers, and participating boutiques harmless from any claims arising from their participation.
